QCDA Tests and exams support

In order to help schools effectively use the key stage 3 ICT onscreen assessment tasks to support pupils to make progress, a range of teacher support materials is available. These are categorised into general support, task support and keyboard user support.

General support provides an overview of the tasks and support materials as well as familiarisation and software training across all key stage 3 ICT assessment tasks.

Task support provides specific support in pupil preparation, marking, programme of study and ICT functional skills mapping together with teaching notes for individual questions and activities in each task.

Keyboard user support provides practical advice, particularly for screen reader users, on how to navigate both the toolkit and non-toolkit versions of the tasks using the keyboard.
